Division of Motor Vehicles

The Division of Motor Vehicle is under the Department of Transportation.  They administer state vehicle registration, title, tag, and driver licensing programs.  Motor Vehicle provides letters of clearance, driving records, identification cards, change of name/address and certified drivers license affidavits.  Motor Vehicle inspects cars for safety and exhaust emissions and processes tile work for dealerships.  Motor Vehicles offers motorcycle classes and provides Defensive Driving course contacts.
