The Emergency Prevention and Response Branch oversees day-to-day operations of the Accidental Release Program (ARP), Emergency Planning & Community Right-to-Know (EPCR), and Emergency Response Groups.The ARP provides protection for the lives and health of the citizens of Delaware, by ensuring that companies with extremely hazardous substances have proper control plans and operations to prevent disasters.The EPCR Group requires the reporting of of production, storage and uses of hazardous chemicals to air, water and land.  The Emergency Response Group responds statewide 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to oil spills, hazardous material incidents, and weapons of mass destruction events.  The group may coordinate responses with local fire departments and various Local, State and Federal agencies.Branch Manager, Ellen Malenfant – (302) 739-9404Accidental Release Program – (302) 323-4542SARA/Right-to-know/EPCR – (302) 739-9405Emergency Response Group – (302) 739-9404Reporting Spills & Releases – 1-800-662-8802 (24 hours)
