Freedom Center for Independent Living

A resource center for persons with disabilities.  Its purpose is to empower persons with disabilities so they can better control the direction of of their lives, as well as identify and obtain the support services they need to maintain an independent lifestyle within the community.  Freedom Center provides: individual one-on-one consultations to identify specific needs and to develop a plan of action to meet those needs Peer Support Meetings to promote peer interaction and mentoring Independent living skills training to assist in developing the knowledge needed to navigate the bureaucratic system and advocate for one’s rights.
