A homelike setting for women and families to become full partners in the birth process through midwifery services. Delivery is managed by Nurse-midwifes/registered nurses with back up from physicians to low-risk women. If complications arise, women can be transferred to St. Francis hospital, one block away. Additional services include prenatal, post-partum home visits and well-women gynecological exams including annual breast and pelvic exams.
