Volunteers manage the Chapter switchboard, reception area and serve as clerical assistants.The American Red Cross Disaster Relief provides emergency food, clothing, shelter and assistance with medical needs to victims of fire or in the case of a major disaster including flood, hurricane, tornado, chemical spill, explosion, etc.The American Red Cross holds training courses in infant, child, and adult CPR, first aid, CPR/AED, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, babysitting, lifeguarding, sports safety, small craft handling, and other lifesaving skills.
