The mission of the DE Breast Cancer Coalition, Inc. is to empower our community by raising awareness of breast health issues through outreach, education and support services, in order to facilitate the early detection and treatment of breast cancer. DBCC provides education, outreach and support to members of the community with an emphasis on under served populations. DBCC’s programs include a Peer Mentor Support Program and “Beginning Your Journey” program for those newly diagnosed, a clinical trials mentoring initiative and other survivor programs. DBCC also partners with Screening for Life, a program of Delaware Division of Public Health to identify women eligible for free or low-cost cancer screenings.
