This is the central administrative office for Public Health’s Immunization Program. The program supports service delivery, assessment, and education to prevent and control transmission of vaccine-preventable diseases in children and adults with emphasis on accelerating interventions to improve immunization coverage of children less than 2 years of age. Also provides consultation related to all aspects of immunizations. Surveillance data and immunization records are available by calling the Immunization Program Central Office at 1-800-282-8672. Education and Training programs offered: education, training, and orientation for VFC providers; professional and public education about vaccine-preventable diseases’ prevention and control; recommended childhood, adolescent and adult immunization schedules; vaccine safety issues; current or upcoming immunization regulations and reporting requirements, i.e., hepatitis B for new school entrants.
This location does not provide direct client services. Services are available through referral or by calling the clinic sites throughout the State.
