Merck Patient Assistance Program is a private and confidential program that provides medicine free of charge for up to 1 year to eligible individuals, primarily the uninsured, who, without this assistance could not afford needed Merck medicines. If the prescription drug-coverage criteria is not met, and there are special circumstances of financial and medical hardship that apply to a patients situation, a request for an acception may be made provided that the income meets the enrollment criteria.
