Peach Tree Acres is a long term, Assisted Living Residence for survivors of head and spinal cord injuries. The program was developed by BIAD (Brain Injury Association of Delaware) . Their goal is to provide Delaware residents 24 hour assisted living services, designed to meet the physical, social and emotional needs of clients in a home setting. The Peach Tree Acres assisted living program combines housing assistance, transportation and community participation. This may include assistance with activities of daily living (ADL) and independent activities of daily living (IADL). They have a philosophy of care that promotes independence, balancing self-care and safety.
