Renaissance Healthcare is a skilled care facility, focusing on people who are discharged from hospitals and may not be quite ready to care for themselves at home until they are fully recovered. This situation is common for people following a stroke, joint replacement, or complications from other conditions. The Center helps bridge the gap by providing short-term medical, long-term medical, Alzheimer’s unit, rehabilitation, and social services. Many of our residents progress to self-care or home-care within a few weeks. For those not able to return to the community, the Center also provides comprehensive long-term care in a friendly, homelike atmosphere. The Center can help residents adapt to their medical conditions and teach them the skills needed to regain their independence. Our team will help plan and coordinate needed medical equipment and adaptive devices to ensure the transition to a safe home environment.
