Life lines serves former foster youth who have been discharged from the care and custody of DSCYF.The program’s primary goal is to assist young adults in their transition to self-sufficiency. Life Lines aims to improve the quality of life for emancipated foster care youth by providing financial subsidies, educational development, job/career development, counseling, and other supportive services.Youth learn how to manage their money, take care of an apartment, relate to peers and older adults in a healthy manner, and meet their health, social recreational and emotional needs for a positive, well-balanced lifestyle.
